Welcome! I'm a 3A Computer Science student at the University of Waterloo. With a passion for software development and good UX/UI design, I am always learning new ideas and striving to improve existing processes.
As an ex-competitive swimmer turned avid foodie, I like to spend my days programming, coaching swimming, sketching and travelling.

Below are some of my interests. These include the kinds of work I've done, and what kinds of work I want to do to expand my skill set.
During my first co-op, I was responsible for making a brand new website for a new UWaterloo department. I used HTML, CSS, Javascript and Bootstrap to complete the website. On my own time, I like to spend some time playing around with different website designs and styles here on my own personal site.
Having a sleek and straightforward web design is one of the key features of an appealing website. When making GEDI's website and my own, all graphics are either hand drawn in Sketchbook or created in Photoshop. It has also been tested on different devices to ensure user-friendliness.
I'm curious about product development, and how proper coding practices play a role in that process. As a CS student, we learn the skills required to write good code, but my interest also includes how a development team is led in order to deliver such a product.
Clean UX/UI design is important for any product. My passion for design started out in highschool where I'd design numerous marketing pieces for various school events. As someone who loves to sketch and play around on Photoshop, I'm excited to apply that side of my skill set to software dev.
